The Prayer List is printed, not just for Sunday mornings, but for you to keep with your Bible or devotional book, so that these petitions will remain in your thoughts and prayers throughout the week -- until next Sunday's updated Prayer List! If you have a Prayer Request you would like added to the list, please call the Church Office (913-682-0387) or email office@splcs.org.

3.     We seek the Lord’s blessing – His eternal blessing – for the Summers family (Darl & Roxie, and their youngest daughter, Emilee) who join the family of faith this morning by baptism.  We rejoice with them!

4.     We praise the Lord for the blessing of Christian mothers – and for the many other women who often help fill that role in our lives.  We seek His blessing over home and family!

5.     We lift up Andrea Herman, our missionary among Maninka women in Siguiri, Guinea, West Africa – as she enjoys a few weeks of “R&R” at home with family in Minnesota (before returning to Guinea in early June). She prays that her language lessons stay fresh in her mind as she speaks English while home!  May the Lord so bless her – together with those to whom she will speak the Truth when she returns!

6.     We pray for our Nation: seeking the Lord’s care for those in our military who serve in harm’s way – especially: Parker Frawley; Cherry Lipp & Logan Hastings (daughter-in-law & grandson of good friends of the Basses) – serving in/near Iraq – and their families.  God bless America!
